Our collaboration with Tani Pintar focuses on leveraging technology to drive sustainable farming practices, improve crop yields, and support the agricultural community.
Through our research with TaniPintar, we are committed to fostering innovation in the agricultural sector. By combining our technological expertise with Tani Pintar's deep understanding of farming needs, we aim to create solutions that not only enhance agricultural productivity but also promote sustainability and resilience in farming communities. TIMCorp has partnered with the Polytechnic Electronic Negeri Surabaya (PENS) since October 2022 to conduct joint research in Precision Agriculture. Since 2023, they have collaborated on multiple government-funded, multi-year projects supported by Indonesia’s Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology. These projects focus on developing Smart Agriculture solutions using IoT, cloud technology, data, AI, drones, and edge-AI to improve agricultural productivity, efficiency, and national food resilience. The research roadmap spans 2023–2028 and includes Smart Agriculture 4.0 platforms, SmartGeoElectric and SmartSoil integrations, and portable AI-based devices for crop diagnostics and yield estimation. To commercialize these innovations, TIMCorp established an affiliated AgriTech startup, PT Tani Pintar Indonesia, in August 2023, aimed at delivering precision agriculture solutions and bringing the research outcomes to the market.
